Cardano Governance Update
Input Output, the blockchain development company behind Cardano, recently hosted a two-day workshop at their home office in Longmont, Colorado. The purpose of the meeting was to make progress on the CIP 1694 proposal for Cardano governance, which defines the terms that will govern the blockchain.
Community members from all around the world were invited to attend, including developers, thought leaders, and influencers. Including our very own Andrew Westberg and Lloyd Duhon. The meeting was a collaborative effort to ensure that the governance proposal meets the needs of the Cardano community.
To protect proprietary information not related to governance, participants were required to sign Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs). This allowed key IO developers and business leaders to contribute freely to the workshop without concern about sensitive information being shared.
The meeting was a success, and while details are currently limited, the NDA will soon be lifted, and more information about the progress made at the workshop will be made available.
This meeting of the minds is a testament to the dedication and commitment of the Cardano community to continue pushing the boundaries of innovation and progress. We look forward to seeing the exciting developments that will come from the CIP 1694 proposal and future workshops. Stay tuned for more updates!
And We’re Back!
We have some exciting news to share with the DripDropz community! As you may know, we recently took some time away from our weekly discussions to focus on the Cardano community governance. We are pleased to announce that we will be returning to our regular schedule of After Town Hall and SpacePlace events this week.
The After Town Hall discussion will take place on Wednesday, 8 March at 5 PM UTC, and the topic is Sales Strategies. Having a well-defined sales strategy ensures that entrepreneurs have a clear plan of action that can guide them toward achieving their business goals. It helps them to identify potential customers, understand their needs, and tailor their sales approach accordingly. Discussing sales strategies with other entrepreneurs and sales professionals in the Cardano Community can provide new entrepreneurs with valuable knowledge and experience that can help them to overcome common sales challenges and succeed in their business endeavors.
This week's SpacePlace event is scheduled for the EU edition on Thursday, 9 March 2023, at 8 PM UTC. The topic of discussion will be Cardano governance and CIP 1694, which define the terms that will govern the blockchain. Continued community discussion around the development and deployment of Cardano governance is vital for ensuring the long-term sustainability and success of the technology. By fostering collaboration, sharing knowledge and ideas, and working towards common goals, the community can create more effective governance structures that promote innovation, transparency, and accountability. This is an exciting opportunity to learn more about the future of Cardano and how it will impact the community.
